Four time nominee for Best Director at the British Independent Film Awards, Michael's credits include: JUDE, WONDERLAND, THE CLAIM, 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE, IN THIS WORLD, CODE 46, THE ROAD TO GUANTANAMO, and A MIGHTY HEART. He has been nominated for numerous awards, including three BIFAs, and most recently won the Silver Conch for Best Director at the San Sebastian Film Festival where the upcoming GENOVA was screened in competition. He formed Revolution Films with producer Andrew Eaton in 1994.
