Fred was the co-founder and producer of the British Independent Film Awards 1998-2001. He then set up Adara Pictures, a production company specialising in factual television formats. He is the writer/director of Northern Lights (2005), and currently co-runs the production company Black Island.
Fred Hogge was a member of the 2008 advisory committee.
