Her previous feature film credits include Photographing Fairies, This Year's Love and Wonderland which premiered in Official Competition at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival and also screened at Toronto, Raindance and Sundance. Wonderland was voted Best Film at the 1999 British Independent Film Awards and received a British Academy Award nomination for Outstanding British Film of the Year. She has recently completed Born Romantic, written and directed by David Kane.

Duncan began his career in advertising, before joining the William Morris Agency in 1971. He set up Duncan Heath Associates in 1973, which he then sold to ICM in 1984. He merged DHA with ICM London in 1991 and has been the Chairman of the joint companies ever since. His clients include Michael Caine, Maggie Smith, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Sam Mendes and Mike Newell.

Richard has produced Shooting Fish, Waking Ned, and the forthcoming Dead Babies, which will be released in the winter. He was recently appointed of Civilian Content Plc, a newly formed financing and production company. Richard was a founder member and co-chair if the New Producers Alliance, and Vice Chair for Film at the PACT for three years.

Writer

His first film, East Is East, was adapted from his West End play of the same name, and has won numerous awards including Best Screenplay (British Independent Film Awards), BBC Asia Award for Film and Television, the London Film Critics' Circle Award for Best Screenplay. East Is East also received the Alexander Korda Award for Outstanding British Film of theYear. Ayub is currently working on his next screenplay, Belmondo Ji, a romantic comedy set in London and Paris.

Director

Declan began his career in live event and multi camera television, including live specials and concerts by Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras, Prince, U2, Van Morrison and the Spice Girls. His other television work includes Orchestra! with Dudley Moore, Father Ted (for which he won a BAFTA in 1996), Cold Feet and The Grimleys. He has directed commercials for Guinness, Tango and Citroen, and his first feature, Wild About Harry, is due for release in the autumn.

Actress

Samantha Morton has been hailed as one of the foremost actresses of her generation. Her career to date has seen her work with some of the most respected directors in the world and the diverse and often difficult choices of role she has made are reflected in the list of accolades including her Golden Globe for the role of Myra Hindley in LONGFORD.
At thirteen Morton joined Central Television’s Junior Workshop where she was quickly spotted and cast in early TV roles including CRACKER and PEAK PRACTICE. Acclaimed theatre work followed with two award winning plays at London’s Royal Court Theatre and then a part in the award-winning TV drama ‘Band of Gold’. TV films EMMA and TOM JONES led to her playing the title role in Robert Young’s acclaimed TV film JANE EYRE.
Morton first came to the attention of International film audiences as Iris in Carine Adler’s harrowing UNDER THE SKIN. It was a role that earned her unanimous critical acclaim and the Boston Film Critics Award for Best Actress. Other critically acclaimed roles include the mute Hattie in Woody Allen’s SWEET AND LOWDOWN for which she received both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations as Best Supporting Actress; Sarah in Jim Sheridan’s IN AMERICA for which she received her second Academy nomination for Best Actress; Claire in Roger Michell’s ENDURING LOVE for which she received a British Independent Film Award Best Actress nomination and Deborah Curtis in Anton Corbijn’s multi award-winning film CONTROL, earning a BAFTA nomination. She has also received a half–Lifetime achievement Award from Dennis Hopper’s ‘Cinevegas Film Festival’

Samantha is currently filming her directorial debut in a film she has written called THE UNLOVED which will transmit on Channel 4 in May.

 

In 1997 Fiona, with partners, set up the independent division of MGM, United Artists Films, to develop new projects and to act as an international sales agent. Recent credits include All About My Mother and Girlfight. Previously, Fiona was Senior Executive Vice President of CiBy Sales Ltd, working with directors including Bernardo Bertolucci, Jane Campion, Mike Leigh and David Lynch.

He runs Archer Street Films with his partners, the director Anand Tucker and writer Frank Cottrell Boyce. He is also the vice-chair for film at PACT.
